This weekend, while you’re out and about, make sure to swing by and pick up your pumpkin for the Great Pumpkin Carving Contest for anyone 17 years of age and younger! It’s an event you won’t want to miss, and here’s everything you need to know to get in on the excitement.
Where to Find Your Perfect Pumpkin:
You can snag your pumpkin at two convenient locations in Hendersonville. The first stop is at the First United Methodist Church, right at 217 East Main St., Hendersonville, TN, 37075. The second location is at the corner of Center Point and Caldwell Dr., right next to Tractor Supply. No matter where you are in town, a fantastic pumpkin is just around the corner!
How to Participate:
Once you’ve got your pumpkin, let your imagination run wild! Carve it into a spooky face, a funny character, or any creative design you can think of. After you’ve finished carving, it’s time to capture your masterpiece. Don’t forget to take a picture of your pumpkin with the carving artist – that’s you! This picture is your ticket to enter the contest.
Entering the Contest:
Email your pumpkin picture to BigPlay@hendersonvilleonline.com. But here’s the catch – the winner won’t be decided by a panel of judges. Instead, the champion will be chosen based on the number of likes their carving receives! So, share your creation with friends, family, and anyone else who appreciates a good pumpkin carving.
Important Dates:
Make sure to get your picture in by November 2nd at midnight. The anticipation will build, but fear not – the winner will be announced on November 5th at noon. It could be you!
